Gary Sanchez expected to be out four weeks
New York Yankees young phenom Gary Sanchez is expected to be out four weeks with a "Grade 1 strain of a muscle behind the biceps", according to Bryan Hoch.
This is a big blow to the Yankees who is their most exciting player to watch and most productive since being called up to the majors last season. Prior to this injury, Sanchez didn't have much time to get going and currently heads to the DL sporting a .150 avg, 1 hr, 2 rbi, and 1 run.
Look for manager Joe Girardi to shake up his batting lineup to try and find the right player to help fill the void towards the top of the lineup.
The Yankees had already called up Kyle Higashioka to add depth to the catcher position. He may be worth a look for those desperate at the catcher position.
