Roma are chasing Portsmouth fullback Nadir Belhadj.Algerian sources say Roma are keen to bring Belhadj to Italy in the summer. Roma chief Daniele Prade was in England last week for transfer talks with several London-based representatives.The Algeria international will leave Fratton Park at the end of the season after Pompey's relegation.

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James fears the club entering administration will affect his World Cup hopes.James, 39, heads the list of players the club are trying to sell, loan back and then leave in the stands to see out the season.Administrator Andrew Andronikou put the plan to the Premier League to help save the club from becoming the first top-flight club to go bust.Andronikou hopes to raise £7million to cut debts of £70m by selling James, midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng and left-back Nadir Belhadj.They will then be loaned back with an agreement that they will not be used, to avoid injury.
