Our View: Boldin will likely own the number-one ranking all by himself once the season gets going and his addition to the club certainly gives young Joe Flacco a boost. Cameron added that Donte Stallworth will compete with Mark Clayton for the Ravens' third receiver spot.

Two-Years, $8 Million The Ravens struck a two-year, $8 million agreement with Mason on Wednesday, retaining the most consistent wide receiver in team history. He will earn $3.5 million the first year. The Ravens have made three moves this offseason, and all three have involved the wide receiver position. The result: This could be the deepest wide receiver group in team history. Last month, they signed Donte' Stallworth (one year, $900,000), hoping he can become the deep threat. Last week, they traded for Anquan Boldin (four years, $28 million), hoping he can become the No. 1 receiver. (Baltimore Sun)

FF Today's Take: Boldin and Mason are similiar, possession-style receivers so it remains to be seen how the targets will be dished out. Mason (73 rec, 1,028 yds, 7 TDs) was a number 2/3 fantasy wideout last season but could easily see a decline in numbers now that Boldin and Stallworth are in the mix.

The team will bring in Charlie Whitehurst, a restricted free agent from the San Diego Chargers, for a visit today, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Whitehurst was tendered by the Chargers for his original round compensation – a third-round pick. The Cardinals picked up an extra third-round pick in their trade of Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend.

Impacts: In his seven seasons with Arizona, Boldin had 586 catches for 7,520 yards and 44 touchdowns. He's the kind of player the Ravens sorely lacked: a physical, go-to wide receiver who can absorb a hit and dole one out. "This is something we've been hoping for," coach John Harbaugh said. There have also been a handful of fantasy relevant players who have changed teams. Of course, when these players move, their presence (or lack thereof, when it comes to the teams they departed) has an impact on other players in the offense.

Thus, it's a good time to fire up the old value machine. We'll run through all the names who have recently seen a shift in fantasy value, starting with the big one.

Anquan Boldin, Ravens - Sure, he'll be the undisputed top option through the air for the Ravens, but there are three reasons Boldin takes a hit in value. First of all, the AFC North plays a lot tougher defense than the NFC West (and this especially worries me when it comes to Boldin's inability to stay healthy). Next, Boldin will receive the lion's share of attention from opposing defense on passing plays, as opposed to have Larry Fitzgerald on the opposite end of the field. Finally, while Joe Flacco is a quality quarterback, he's not Kurt Warner in terms of being able to man a prolific passing offense.
