Sullivan, of MLB.com, reports Los Angeles Dodgers OF Manny Ramirez was taking a shower in the team's clubhouse when the Philadelphia Phillies came from behind to beat the Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLCS. Ramirez was pulled for defensive replacement OF Juan Pierre in the ninth inning. "I was taking a shower," Ramirez said. "I came out and I saw it on television. Then everybody started coming in and they turned off the television." http://www.fantasysp.com/player/mlb/Juan_Pierre/595111 595111 Wed, 21 Oct 2009 13:24:01 EDT kffl.com http://www.fantasysp.com/player/mlb/Juan_Pierre/595111 Pierre swipes two for 30 on the year Juan Pierre shined once again with Many Ramirez out of the lineup. He went 2-for-5 and stole two bases in the Dodgers 5-3 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Our View: Pierre now has 30 steals for the year, marking the ninth time he's had at least that many in a season. He also finishes 2009 with a .308 average. Not bad for a guy who supposedly didn't have a job at the beginning of the season.

Despite limited playing time the rest of the year, Pierre still finished with a respectable steal total and his .307 batting average and 57 runs were still sizeable impacts for NL-only formats. http://www.fantasysp.com/player/mlb/Juan_Pierre/564207 564207 Sun, 04 Oct 2009 2:08:16 EDT mlb.com http://www.fantasysp.com/player/mlb/Juan_Pierre/564207 Pierre sparks LA to division winner Juan Pierre sparked the offense for the Dodgers on Saturday in their division-clinching 5-0 win over the Rockies. He went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base.

Our View: Pierre lost most of his fantasy value when Manny Ramirez returned from his 50-game suspension, but he's been invaluable to the Dodgers all season. The RBI was his 31st and the steal was his 28th.
