Athletes Premier International's Edwin Mejia had represented Chapman since shortly after the pitcher's defection from the Cuban national team in July, but he was recently replaced by veteran agents Randy and Alan Hendricks. A statement released by Athletes Premier International claimed Chapman had given no indication that he was unhappy with their advice or disappointed with how he was treated.
