According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Wild have signed defenseman Shane Hnidy to a one-year contract. The deal is expected to be worth $750,000.
Our View: Hnidy isn't much of an offensive threat, but he is a solid, tough defenseman who should see some decent ice time. He has very little fantasy value due to his lack of scoring, so no need to give him much of a look.
