Capitals' beat writer Tarik El-Bashir is reporting on Twitter that Semyon Varlamov will likely start in net for the team against the Thrashers on Thursday. Varlamov is 4-0-0 this season in his four starts.
Our View: The 4-0-0 record is very impressive, but his .884 save percentage and 3.24 GAA aren't. Varlamov is getting plenty of support from his offense, but those numbers will catch up with him if he doesn't pick up his game.
