Guillaume Latendresse (concussion) might have been able to return before the end of the Wild's season if they were competitive.
Impacts: The Wild didn't end up coming even close to making the playoffs, so there was no real point in trying to push Latendresse to return. He is reportedly feeling much better at this point. Latendresse is scheduled to become a restricted free agent this summer, but the Wild would need to give him a qualifying offer of $2.5 million to retain his rights. They will probably bulk at that because Latendresse has played just 27 games over the last two seasons. However, Latendresse and the Wild might agree to a new contract even if he doesn't get a qualifying offer.
