According to the 49ers official site, Takeo Spikes miss Thursday's practice with a shoulder injury.
Our View: Spikes is expected to return to practice on Friday and will be available for Week 9. The strained right shoulder has bothered him for the last two weeks now, but it appears he'll be able to go on Sunday. He's a good source of tackles if you're in a deep IDP league, as referenced by the 96 he racked up last season.
