Rashard Mendenhall, who went on injured reserve last week, needs surgery on his fractured shoulder but the procedure hasn't been scheduled yet. Mendenhall will be 10 months removed from his injury when training camp opens in 2009, so he should be 100% by then. However, if the surgery is put off too long the Steelers may have to limit Mendenhall some in spring OTAs.Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
