Declining Production and Unsigned Status Leave Veteran Wideout on Fantasy Margins
Mike Williams enters the 2026 season on the fantasy periphery, currently rostered in just four percent of leagues. The veteran wide receiver is coming off a disappointing 2024 campaign with the New York Jets, where he managed only 21 receptions for 298 yards and a single touchdown across 13 games.
At 31 years old, his days as a highly productive deep threat appear to be behind him. Without a secure team spot or an active projection in our models, fantasy managers are treating him as a wait-and-see option rather than a draft-day target.
While his career stats showcase past upside—including a 1,146-yard season in 2021—his recent decline makes him a tough sell. Unless he lands in a favorable offensive environment, we recommend leaving him on the waiver wire.
