Adam Schefter of ESPN tweeted that Reggie Nelson has been fined $7,500 for hitting Jets' quarterback Mark Sanchez in the head in Week 10.

Our View: It is uncertain if the young free safety intends to appeal the fine. He is gearing up for Sunday's battle against the Bills.
