L.J. breaks silence
In his first interview since the Twitter meltdown that led to his release from the Kansas City Chiefs, disgraced running back Larry Johnson told Dan Patrick that he's not a bad guy and that he would be willing to accept a back-up role with a new team, according to Sports Illustrated.
Our View: 'I gave Kansas City all that I had as far as being on the field and being upbeat. It was just time,' he said. 'It left a bad taste in my mouth every game we were losing...You just felt like you were useless. If I was frustrated and upset, it was mainly for myself.' He went on to say he was Todd Haley's number one fan and that the Kansas City media is 'tough.' Sounds like he would be perfectly fine, then, playing for the cuddly Bill Belichick in the media outpost of New England.
