Patriots mock Porter
After the Patriots beat the Dolphins in New England on Sunday, the home scoreboard reportedly showed a dejected Joey Porter standing on the sidelines while flashing his stats from the game beneath his image: zero tackles, zero sacks, according to the Miami Herald. Porter had made lengthy negative comments about the franchise in the run-up to the game.
Our View: Because this is the sort of thing a championship franchise needs to be doing. Porter runs his mouth before every game, and usually does nothing more than heighten interest. For a team that supposedly does all things the 'right way,' this was a puzzlingly classless move.
