The National Football Post reports that the Browns have signed veteran free agent tight end Michael Gaines.
Our View: Gaines was cut by the Bears over the weekend after Chicago traded for Gaines Adams. He has spent time with the Lions and Bills as well, and his best season came in 2007 with Buffalo when he caught 25 passes for 215 yards and two scores. Don't expect him to make much of an impact with the struggling Browns.
