Gore hopes for better line play
News: 49ers RB Frank Gore, who had a 64-yard scoring run at Indianapolis but was otherwise held in check by the Colts last week, said he's noticing improvement with the team's run blocking, even if others aren't. 'I tell my guys up front that the number one thing we have to do is to just get positive yards every time,' Gore said Wednesday. 49ers LT Barry Sims said he can't put his finger on why, with the exception of Gore's long touchdown scamper, the team struggled to run the ball against the Colts. 'We didn't get into any kind of rhythm,' he said. 'Every time we took two steps forward, our drives would stall with some kind of penalty or some other mistake.' [...]
