Folsom signed to active roster
According to the team's official website, the Miami Dolphins have signed linebacker J.D. Folsom off the practice squad to the active roster. The team released linebacker William Kershaw to make room on the roster.
Our View: Folsom is a rookie who was a seventh-round pick by the team this season, and he doesn't figure to be a factor on the defense this week. The team needed some depth at the position with Channing Crowder out, but Folsom will likely be relegated to special teams duty against the Pats on Sunday.
