Malcolm Jenkins fully expects Brett Favre to try to pick on him when the New Orleans Saints play host to the Minnesota Vikings Thursday in the NFL's season opener. 'I'll just have to hold my own,' said Jenkins, who will start for All-Pro safety Darren Sharper. As the Saints open their 2009 title defense, they're not exactly the same team they were a year ago.

Whether retired or not (or waffling between the two), no NFL offseason can be complete without hearing a story about Brett Favre. However, this one isn’t about Favre unretiring, but rather when No. 4 will be retired.

Since Favre made his first retirement as a member of the Green Bay Packers following the 2007 season, many have wondered when the team planned on retiring the jersey number of the quarterback who played 16 seasons for the team, earning three NFL MVPs and a Super Bowl ring along the way.
