Hoover out two weeks
According to the Rock Hill Herald, Panthers fullback Brad Hoover is expected to miss at least two weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Our View: Hoover, who is on crutches, has been ruled out for Week 9 and his replacement Tony Fiammetta is dealing with a concussion. This spells bad news for the electric tandem of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, as Hoover was their lead blocker. Expect the Panthers to sign someone this week, but don't expect him to be a difference maker. Williams and Stewart's numbers could suffer as a result.
