Bob Sanders sat out Thursday's practice, according to the Colts' official website.

Our View: Sanders is just resting his surgically-repaired knee, and is expected to play in Sunday's home game against the 49ers. His workload in the Colts' secondary will increase as he feels more comfortable. He only notched one tackle in his season debut last week at St. Louis.
