Veteran Icon Sets Up Farewell Tour in Pittsburgh with Rising Draft Stock

Aaron Rodgers has officially announced that 2026 will be his final NFL season, setting the stage for a highly anticipated farewell tour. Operating as Pittsburgh’s clear starting quarterback ahead of backup Mason Rudolph, the veteran icon is motivated to finish his career on a high note.

Our projections place Rodgers at 3,137 passing yards and 20 touchdowns. While these numbers mark a slight regression from his 24-touchdown campaign last year, he remains a highly efficient distributor. The offense features high-end weapons like DK Metcalf and newly signed former teammate Robert Tonyan.

In draft lobbies, Rodgers' stock is rising sharply, with his ADP climbing from around 200 to 138 over the past week. However, our models view this sudden market surge as a reach.
