NBA writer Marc Spears is reporting on Twitter that the 76ers have waived forward Stromile Swift. Swift, the former second overall pick, was sidelined by a hamstring injury that didn't help his cause with the team.

Our View: Swift has been a pretty big disappointment in his NBA career, but he still has enough athleticism to help someone out off the bench. Expect him to catch on with another team soon, but he shouldn't be fantasy relevant again this season.
