JR Smith to come off bench upon return
The Denver Post is reporting that Nuggets' guard J.R. Smith will come off the bench when he returns from his seven-game suspension on November 10. Head coach George Karl believes that Smith needs time to shake the rust off before he enters the starting rotation.
Our View: Smith is a shooter, so he will need some time to adjust to the speed of the game before he can get comfortable. The Nuggets expect big things out of Smith this season, so they will bring him along slowly to make sure he doesn't get himself into an early funk.
