MLB.com is reporting that Reds' outfielder Willy Taveras has started running the bases. There is a good chance that Taveras will be activated by the team sometime in the next week.
Our View: The Reds could use Taveras back at the top of the lineup, as they are trying to finish out their disappointing season on a high note. Any time you can get a guy with speed like Taveras has back in the lineup, it is an upgrade.
