Updating previous reports, the Arlington Heights Daily Herald's Bruce Miles reports Chicago Cubs SP Ted Lilly (shoulder) hopes he can begin throwing in early March after undergoing shoulder surgery, which would put him behind going into spring training. He could miss the start of the season in 2010. Lilly is entering the final year of his four-year contract.
