News: Ryan Madson's fifth blown save in nine opportunities cost Cole Hamels his first victory since July 28 on Wednesday against the Pirates after the left-hander pitched shutout ball for the first time in 2½ months, repeatedly working out of trouble while throwing 123 pitches over eight innings. Madson came on instead of closer Brad Lidge and gave up a pinch-hit homer to Brandon Moss that tied the game at 1.
