Mariners | Branyan unlikely to start at first base
Ryan Divish, of The Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Mariners 1B Russell Branyan (back) is unlikely to start another game at first base before the end of the season. However, manager Don Wakamatsu has not given up hope that Branyan will receive at least a few more at bats before the end of the season. 'We would like him to be back for what he's done, to get at least a day in the lineup, but we're not going to force that,' Wakamatsu said.
