Detwiler shuts out Braves for five
Ross Detwiler tossed five shutout innings on Saturday against the Braves and allowed just one hit while he was on the mound. He did however walk four and failed to earn a decision in the 6-4 win.
Our View: Detwiler has allowed just one run over 11 innings in his last two outings and may be a candidate for next year's rotation. His stuff is unquestionable, but the young lefty has had trouble harnessing it this season. He's 1-6 with a 5.00 ERA in 14 starts this year.
