Barajas not likely returning to Toronto
MLBlogs.com is reporting that free agent catcher Rod Barajas is unlikely to return to the Blue Jays next season. The team still plans to offer arbitration, but it appears as if there is outside interest from teams willing to give him a multi-year deal.
Our View: GM Alex Anthopoulos didn't sound confident that the team would be able to bring Barajas back, so it looks like he might find a new home next year. He won't be much of a fantasy contributor, but apparently there are teams who like him enough to offer a multi-year deal.
