Randy Wolf looked fantastic in a no-decision vs. the Padres
Randy Wolf looked fantastic in a no-decision vs. the Padres on Saturday as he held them to one earned run on four hits in six innings of an eight-strikeout, walk-free effort.
Analysis: Already familiar with PETCO Park after spending the first half of 2008 with the Padres, Wolf lowered his ERA to 3.49 and his WHIP to 1.16 with the quality start. He's attained seven or more strikeouts in just four of his 18 starts, so don't expect the punchout count to approach that number on July 9 against the Mets at Citi Field.
