It will be difficult for the Brewers to avoid an arbitration hearing with Prince Fielder, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.Fielder expressed irritation last year after having his contract renewed opposed to being signed to a long-term deal, so it would be hard to see Fielder settling for anything other than a long-term deal before an arbitration hearing.
