Scott Sizemore fractures ankle
The Detroit News is reporting that Tigers' prospect Scott Sizemore will miss the rest of the Arizona Fall League season after fracturing his ankle. Sizemore is expected to be full recovered in six-to-eight weeks, which gives him plenty of time before spring training.
Our View: It's unfortunate that Sizemore will miss the fall league, but he will be fine in plenty of time for spring training. He is expected to challenge to be the team;s starting second baseman next season assuming Placido Polanco leaves, and he has a bright future ahead of him.
