The Arlington Heights Daily Herald reports Chicago Cubs OF Kosuke Fukudome extended his hitting streak to eight games with a single in the eighth inning of Game 1 of the doubleheader Wednesday, Sept. 30, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Fukudome is 11-for-31 (.355) during the streak.
