Jurickson Profar Ineligible for the 2026 Season Following 162-Game PED Suspension

Jurickson Profar has not played any games recently and will not suit up for the first-place Atlanta Braves (45-21) at any point this season. He is serving a 162-game suspension after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs for the second time. Consequently, he has been removed from the active roster, leaving Mike Yastrzemski to serve as the everyday starter in left field.

While Profar delivered a productive 2025 campaign with 14 home runs and a .242 average over 80 games, his rest-of-season outlook is entirely blank. Fantasy managers who were hoping for a repeat of his career-best 2024 season—where he hit 24 homers with a .276 average—must move on, as he will remain completely inactive and provide no statistical value.

Atlanta has a six-game road trip scheduled against the White Sox and Mets, but Profar obviously will not participate. With zero projected plate appearances and zero fantasy output expected for the week, there is no reason to hoard him on your bench. He should be immediately cut loose in all redraft formats. Verdict: Drop.
