Red Sox hurler Josh Beckett has been put on the 15-day disabled list with a strained elbow, according to the Providence Journal. Beckett had traveled to see Dr. James Andrews recently, in order to get the tingling sensation in his arm looked at.It is not known when Beckett will be back, or the exact severity of the injury, though the team made the disablement retroactive to August 18.
