M's help fix broken Beckett
Josh Beckett rebounded from a rough stretch and the Red Sox broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the sixth inning to beat the Mariners 5-3 in the first game of a day-night doubleheader Wednesday. Beckett (4-3) allowed one hit in six innings -- an infield single off his glove by Ichiro Suzuki leading off the game -- before giving up three runs in the seventh on homers by Russell Branyan and Casey Kotchman.
