Red Sox SP Josh Beckett pitched 6 1/3 innings on Thursday night, allowing six runs off seven hits against the Angels. He took a two-hit shutout into the sixth inning before giving up four straight hits with one out, leading to four Los Angeles runs. The right-hander came back out for the seventh but was pulled for Manny Delcarmen after issuing a one-out walk. Both runners he left on base ended up scoring and Beckett took his third loss of the year in the 7-2 defeat. He struck out six and walked two while losing his second straight decision. [...]
