Josh Beckett was shelled for seven runs off 11 hits through only 4.2 innings before being pulled in Boston's 7-2 loss to the Yankees.

Our View: Beckett did fan six against only two walks, and he was solid up until the fifth inning when he allowed five runs. Still, those runs do count, and he now has a sky-high 6.21 ERA on the season after allowing at least seven runs in four of his past nine starts.
