Jose Guillen expects to serve as designated hitter in the Royals' second Cactus League game Thursday after recovering from a sore shoulder and an ingrown toenail. Guillen won't begin throwing until he is assured that all is well with his swing. He will also put off a decision on joining the Dominican Republic for the WBC until after he tests the injuries.
