Votto out on Saturday
MLB.com reports that Joey Votto will not play on Saturday and he could possibly land on the DL due to what is being called an inner ear infection. The first baseman had a closed door meeting with his coach, GM, and trainer following his early exit in Friday's game.
Our View: Votto is still battling dizziness on occasion, and his constant yo-yo-ing in and out of the lineup has made him among the more frustrating players to own. Through his first 126 at bats, the 25-year-old is hitting an impressive .357/.464/.627.
