Ken Gurnick, of MLB.com, reports Los Angeles Dodgers 1B Jim Thome (heel) re-injured his heel Sunday, Sept. 6, and is unavailable for pinch-hitting duties. Manager Joe Torre said Thome 'felt a pop' in his heel that has a history of plantar fasciitis.
