Hairston Jr. has wrist tendinitis
According to MLB.com, Yankees' utility man Jerry Hairston Jr. is day-to-day after an MRI revealed tendinitis in his left wrist. Hairston is likely to miss a few games with the injury.
Our View: Hairston Jr. got a cortisone shot in the wrist today, so he will surely be out for the lext several days. He should be able to make it through the rest of the season, especially since he is not playing everyday.
