The Associated Press reports Tampa Bay Rays SP Jeff Niemann finally picked up his 13th victory of the season in his seventh try, although he left four of his six previous starts with a lead or the score tied. Niemann's team beat the New York Yankees 5-3 Saturday, Oct. 3. 'He's pitched well enough to have more wins than that,' Maddon said. 'We just have not played the complete game all the time behind him, particularly offensively.'
