MLB.com is reporting that the Cubs plan to use newly acquired Jeff Baker in a multitude of roles going forward. The Cubs taded for Baker on July 2.
Our View: Lou PInella told the media he wants to use Baker in a Mark DeRosa-type role since he can play so many positions. If he can get in the lineup on a daily basis, he could have some fantasy value, but we will have to see how exactly the team uses him.
