Vazquez ho-hum as Braves ease by Phillies
Javier Vazquez was solid if unspectacular on Thursday, striking out five in 5.1 innings and taking a no-decision as Atlanta won 5-2 at home.
Our View: Vazquez has been having his best season in years in 2009, going back and worth with Tim Lincecum for the National League lead in strikeouts and posting five wins for his newest team. He may drop off as the season progresses, but is still a top-tier option at starting pitcher in every format.
