Jason Kubel went 1-for-4 with a solo homer off Rick Porcello in tonight's 6-5 win over the Tigers at the Metrodome. The game took 12 innings to decide which team will move on to the playoffs.
Our View: Kubel closed out the regular season with a .300 batting average, 28 homers and 103 RBI. He will be counted on when the Twins open their playoff series at New York tomorrow.
