Joe Christensen, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Twins OF Jason Kubel's two-year deal with an option for 2011 became official Thursday, Jan. 29, after he passed a physical. The deal is reportedly worth $7.1 million and he will make $2.75 million this year and roughly $4 million in 2010. The 2011 option is worth $5 million with a $350,000 buyout.
