Twins | Perkins files grievance
The Minneapolis Star Tribune's La Velle E. Neal III reports Minnesota Twins SP Glen Perkins has filed a grievance against the team because he feels the team kept him in the minors while he was healthy, which cost him service time. That service time kept him from being eligible for arbitration. An official with the MLBPA said the union is trying to arrange a face-to-face meeting between the sides in the near future to try to resolve their differences and avoid a hearing.
