Gonzalez can chalk his 2009 season up to experience and try to build on the good -- his 109 strikeouts in 98 2/3 innings -- while working on bringing down his unsightly 1.71 WHIP. The 24-year-old has a big-time arm and looks likely to score a rotation spot in 2010, which will make him worth a late-draft flier next year. While Gonzalez showed a tendency to get torched in '09 and was far more hittable than owners would like, his strikeout totals and serious stuff suggest that he could easily make the leap into fantasy viability.
