Franklin Gutierrez went 3-for-5 with a home run and RBI on Thursday as the Mariners beat the Yankees 8-4 in Yankee Stadium.
Our View: Gutierrez has put up good numbers for the Mariners in '09, batting .285 with eight home runs and 29 RBIs. His numbers aren't really enough to warrant a roster spot in most formats, but you could do worse for a fill-in.
